Consultation for Pre and Post Aquisition
Consultation for Pre and Post Aquisition
To ensure the right fit for each puppy’s needs, consultations are designed to explore available services and any opportunities to customize timelines or support. When appropriate, services may be adjusted, prorated, or expanded based on the unique variables involved.
This approach is intentionally individualized rather than one-size-fits-all. Each puppy’s developmental education is guided with careful consideration of temperament, family dynamics, and the environment the puppy will be entering. This helps create households where expectations are clear, behavior is consistent, and puppies are not only well-mannered — but genuinely comfortable, confident, and happy to follow household rules.
Pre-acquisition consultations focus on preparing families before bringing a puppy home. Discussions include important considerations such as lifestyle compatibility, realistic expectations, and selecting a dog that is well suited to the family.
Families interested in adopting a puppy currently in foster care or within the shelter system may receive personalized adoption assistance at no additional charge. These families are also eligible for 50% off their first booking and a 10% lifetime discount on future services.
Sliding-scale fees may be available for qualifying families based on current financial circumstances. Foster caregivers preparing puppies for adoption are encouraged to reach out for complimentary guidance, with select services offered at no cost in special cases.
Supporting dogs and the people who care for them is at the heart of this work and serves as a meaningful way to give back to the community.
