Crucial Puppy Care & Training
In-Home Puppy Boarding School (2–4 Weeks)
This immersive puppy boarding school is designed for busy pet parents who want to ensure their puppy receives focused attention during the most critical developmental stages for becoming a well-adjusted adult dog.
Puppies stay in my home for the duration of the booking to allow for consistency, structure, and uninterrupted learning. Pet parents are welcome to visit during waking hours.
During this program, puppies receive daily enrichment, affection, and structured training, along with essential classical conditioning focused on the three most important foundations for life with humans:
• Potty training
• Bite inhibition (learning to control bite pressure to prevent injury later in life)
• Comfort and confidence when spending time alone
In addition to these core skills, puppies are introduced to crate training and basic cues such as sit, down, come, stand, and stay. Optional fun behaviors, such as “kiss,” may also be included based on individual progress.
Results vary based on age, temperament, and prior experience. While one week provides a foundation, a minimum of two weeks is strongly recommended for meaningful progress. Most puppies benefit from 2–4 weeks of boarding school, ideally between 8–12 weeks of age.
Pricing is listed per week and includes all seven days, with start dates available any day of the week. For each additional consecutive week booked, $100 is credited toward enrichment items, such as treats, toys, games, or supervised outings for your puppy.
Puppies over four months of age or those already cutting adult teeth are not eligible for this program. Alternative training resources may be recommended upon request for older puppies and adult dogs.

Enrollment & Eligibility
Early reservation is strongly encouraged — ideally before the puppy is born or as soon as acquisition is confirmed. When possible, puppies benefit most from coming directly from their mother into the program.
Puppies already living in their future home may require additional time to achieve the same results; however, this is not a disqualifier. Puppies up to 3–4 months old may still be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Puppies under eight weeks of age are only accepted if orphaned or rejected by the mother. I have extensive experience hand-raising neonatal puppies and currently care for adult dogs who were raised from birth and are healthy, stable, and well-adjusted.
I welcome puppies of all breeds, including rescues and shelter adoptions, provided they have received a veterinary health check. Puppies rescued from shelters or taken in from the street receive 50% off their first booking.
